About Me: I was born in Berkeley California and raised in the projects just outside a large Navajo Indian Reservation in Tucson Arizona. We called it the Canyon. I began attending the University of Arizona, but after a series of unfortunate events, I joined the U.S.Navy in 1987 at the onset of Desert Storm. I completed many educational courses of study including Hospital Medical Services School (HMSS) where my main course of study was pre and post-op care, and Field Medical Service School (FMSS) where I studied more gruesome and rewarding field emergency treatments. I served my country from Camp Pendleton’s 21 area 1st Landing Support Battalion/Battalion Aid Station as an EMT and a PMR Specialist. I’ve been married for 20 years (since 1994) and have 4 children currently attending college, 2 in High School, and 1 in Jr. High School.
